A jewelry shop owner hires Ting Kuo to rob his shop for in order to scan his insurance company, but when the heist fails, he tries to get rid of him. Jacky and Mary get involved in the case. When Mary is endangered, Jacky saves her and they catch Ting Kuo, who reveals the proprietor's plot. The proprietor, who is utterly discredited, searches for Jacky and Mary for revenge...

Sérgio shaves his beard, getting ready to leave the house. The sun goes down and Sérgio goes to Bairro Alto. Against the wild crowd, he drinks beer, rolls cigarettes, takes drugs. He talks about life and finds a friend. Bairro Alto is his playground. He robs a closed bar and gets in a hassle. He becomes sober again once her friend feels sick, and Sérgio feels responsible for her. He ends up alone in Cais do Sodré. As Oscar Wilde said “One must never regret that a poet is a drunk, but that drunkards are not always poets” and Sérgio is in fact, a poet.

Robert Ménégoz’s film depicting the struggles of French dockworkers in the winter and early spring of 1950 is meant to evoke the feelings of insecurity, exertion and danger of this profession whose rights were not sufficiently reflected in post-war France. At the same time, the heroic image of dockworkers is meant to mobilize against American policy, the Marshall Plan, German rearmament and the war in Indochina. Doch Helenes selbst bestimmte Art und ihr starker Wille vertragen sich nicht mit Wilhelms traditionellen Rollenbildern, die er auch gewaltvoll versucht durchzusetzen, und ihrer neuen Rolle als Mutter. Attempting to do a favor, teenager Jeremy Campbell, (Jesse Spencer) is given a strange statue from his work and keeps it in his basement. Given a box of strange charms as well, he becomes fascinated with a strange talisman found inside. Using it as leverage to meet Fiona, (Sara Gleeson) and Miranda, (Tempany Deckert) from school and get invited to a Halloween Party, he becomes convinced that the statue has come alive and produced a hibernating bat. Tracking down the collection, priest Eccleston, (Rob Mullinar) arrives in town to see that the statues are safe, which really contain a race of gargoyles from the Middle Ages that were to destroy the world before being turned to stone. It manages to get loose from his basement, it launches a reign of terror through the community that doesn't seem to end. Realizing the true intentions of the gargoyles, they race to stop them before they complete their mission.
