Stadtjugendpfarrer Martin Henker schildert seine Sicht der Ereignisse von den Demonstrationen auf der Prager Straße. Zusätzlich werden seine Predigt und ein offener Brief an den Staatsratsvorsitzenden Erich Honecker aus einem Gotteshaus sowie Ton- und Filmaufnahmen von den Demonstrationen auf dem Dresdner Theaterplatz und den vermittelnden Erklärungen und Wünschen nach einem offenen Dialog mit den Bürgern der DDR von Hans Modrow und dem Reformsozialisten Oberbürgermeister Wolfgang Berghofer eingeschnitten. Zusätzlich schildern drei Vertreter der oppositionellen "Gruppe der Zwanziger" nach den Demonstrationen von Anfang Oktober ihre Beweggründe und Motivation hier mitzuwirken. Ein handgeschriebener Zettel auf einer Stellwand in einer Dresdner Kirche bringt es auf den Punkt: "Gewalt ist keine Lösung für unser Problem".

Romero: Eine Ehefrau hebt ihr alten reichen, aber verstorbenen Mann in der Tiefkühltruhe auf. Mit ihrem Lover will sie möglichst schnell an das Geld des verstorbenen, doch dieser ist nicht so tot, wie sie vermuten. Episode 2 - "The Black Cat" von Dario Argento: Ein Fotograf tötet im Vollrausch eine Frau und eine schwarze Katze. Er mauert beide in seinem Haus ein, doch als die Polizei die Wand öffnet, macht sie eine furchtbare Entdeckung.

All the protagonists move about in a Tokyo Bar that has an entire wall taken up with a black-and-white reproduction of a photo of Monument Valley. The action starts as Billy the Kid, in full living color, walks out of the photo and gets a job as a waiter. Along with him on the working staff are a samurai straight out of the history books, a G.I. from World War II, and several other anachronistic characters. The plot (as such) revolves around keeping away the brutal mobsters and thugs who dominate the city streets outside of the bar, making the tavern safe for its easily recognized facsimiles of well-known characters.
