Ed fühlt sich fortan für Jerry verantwortlich, und zwischen ihnen entwickelt sich eine Freundschaft, die für beide vorteilhaft ist. Episode 2 - "The Black Cat" von Dario Argento: Ein Fotograf tötet im Vollrausch eine Frau und eine schwarze Katze. Er mauert beide in seinem Haus ein, doch als die Polizei die Wand öffnet, macht sie eine furchtbare Entdeckung.

Vor allem der gegnerische Kapitän, einer der wenigen linkshändigen Spieler, stellt das mittlerweile eigentlich gut eingespielte Team der Karasuno vor ihre größte Herausforderung bisher. Während alle nach neuen Techniken suchen, die sie zum Sieg führen könnten, macht sich langsam die Erschöpfung durch das lange Match bemerkbar.
