The special is hosted by Tony Danza and Annie Potts celebrating 50 years of William Hanna and Joseph Barbera's partnership in animation. This is the first animated project to be broadcast in Dolby Surround sound system.

As the investigation progresses, the situation becomes more complex and the book becomes increasingly well-known, raising numerous controversies. Plagued by doubts, the protagonist has to face facts: reality only exists in the imagination of individuals.

The film tells the story of three best friends named Ako, Aki and Awang, who are well-known in their village for their mischievous and humourous pranks. The trio work for Pak Man. One day, they are assigned to pick up his daughter Misha, who has just returned from overseas and dreams of becoming a doctor. The trio have been in love with her for a long time but she does not pay them any heed. When Misha is robbed by a snatch thief one day, she is rescued by a doctor named Shafiq. Her face reminds the doctor of his late wife, and he begins to pursue her, which annoys the trio.

Maja Bordenave ist Leiterin der Küstenwache eines kleinen französischen Badeortes, in dem nur selten etwas Aufregendes passiert. Dieser Umstand ändert sich kolossal, als eines Tages die Überreste eines Mannes an den Strand gespült werden, der offenbar Opfer einer Hai-Attacke geworden ist. Dabei blüht die zu ihrem Bedauern kurz vor der Pensionierung stehende Maja regelrecht auf und setzt fortan alles daran, um die Sicherheit ihrer Mitmenschen zu gewährleisten. Mit ihren nicht gerade überqualifizierten Mitarbeitern Blaise und Eugénie macht sie sich daran, auf dem Meer zu patrouillieren – immer in der Hoffnung, das vermutlich riesengroße Ungetüm ködern und erlegen zu können. Majas Ehemann Thierry gefällt dieser neue Mut und Ehrgeiz seiner Gattin indes überhaupt nicht. Hatte er doch auf einen deutlich weniger aufregenden Lebensabend mit seiner Frau gehofft.
