Wenige Bands sind enger mit Montreux verbunden als Deep Purple und es gab einfach keinen anderen Anwärter, wenn es darum ging, den Schlusstag des 40. Montreux Festivals im Jahr 2006 als Headliner zu wählen. Barbara is a filmmaker who has been working in the prison environment for a few years now. She is preparing a film written and directed by long-term inmates in a prison in the projects around Paris. Twice a week, Barbara goes to the prison where she shoots interviews with the inmates which will serve as a basis for the writing of their screenplay.

Clara is a hospice nurse with an obstinate patient and whose daughter is moving away, causing her to question her place in this world. Throughout the evening, these four bicker, bond and unwittingly provide each other with the answer to their respective prayers.
