Coop Burtonburger ist ein zehnjähriger Junge, der mit seinem alleinerziehenden Vater und seiner jüngeren Schwester Millie friedlich zusammenlebt, bis Millie eine Katze namens „Mr. Kat“ mit nach Hause bringt. Kat entpuppt sich als ein katzenähnliches Alien mit bösen Absichten, die Coop immer wieder durchkreuzen muss. Unterstützung bekommt er nur von seinem Freund Dennis und Fiona, da ihm sonst niemand glaubt. Neben Kat macht ihm außerdem noch die alte Nachbarin Lady Munson das Leben schwer.

Micro Ventures is an educational animated series created by Hanna-Barbera Productions which originally aired as a 4-minute segment on The Banana Splits Adventure Hour. It ran for only four episodes from November 9, 1968 to December 21, 1968 on NBC.

Peep and the Big Wide World is an animated cartoon that teaches nature and basic science concepts to preschoolers. The main characters include a yellow baby chick named Peep and his friends Quack, a teenaged blue drake, and Chirp, a baby red robin with pink eyelids. The current show, narrated by Joan Cusack is based on a National Film Board of Canada cartoon short of the same name, created in 1988 by Kaj Pindal and narrated by Peter Ustinov, and another short, "The Peep Show", from 1962. The original short comprised three 10-minute films featuring Peep, Quack, and Chirp as they meet a cat, a ladybug, a turtle and a frog who speaks from both sides of his mouth. The show is produced by WGBH in Boston and 9 Story Entertainment in Toronto, Canada. In the US, this show formerly aired on Discovery Kids as part of its commercial-free and sponsor-free "Ready, Set, Learn!" programming block. It now airs nationally in the United States on public television, distributed by American Public Television. In Canada, it airs on TVOntario. DVDs and books are also available for purchase. Peep and the Big Wide World is currently sponsored by the National Science Foundation in conjunction with WGBH-TV as part of an education and outreach program. The principal investigator is Kate Taylor, also of the ZOOM block. The National Science Foundation is the only permanent sponsor of the show. Northrop Grumman, The Carnegie Corporation of New York, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and Toyota funded the show for only season two. The Discovery Kids Foundation funded the show for only season one. In 1999, the show was produced by Clumsy PriStar Television. The VHS copies are produced from Clumsy Pristar's home viewings.

Dr. Slump ist ein ziemlich überdrehter, aber genialer Erfinder. Seine wohl gelungenste Schöpfung ist das Robotermännchen Arale Norimaki (jap.: "kleiner Reiskeks"). Leider stattete Dr. Slump die kleine Arale aus Versehen mit etwas zu viel Kraft und Temperament aus, so dass sie wie ein Wirbelwind durch Haus und Dorf fegt. Arales wahnwitzige Ideen bringen Dr. Slump und andere Bewohner von Pinguinhausen benahe um den Verstand. Doch niemand ist ihr lange böse, denn mit ihr gibt es schließlich auch jede Menge zu lachen, zu erleben und zu entdecken.

Risa Koizumi ist eigentlich ein ganz normales japanisches Mädchen, doch eine Sache ist anders: Mit ihrer Größe von 1,70 m ist Risa für eine Japanerin verhältnismäßig groß gewachsen. Zu allem Überfluss gibt es da noch Atsushi Ootani, ein Junge, der in derselben Klasse wie Risa ist und auch ein Problem mit seiner Größe hat. Nur ist er nicht zu groß, sondern zu klein. Genau dieser Komplex ist es, der die beiden mehr oder weniger verbindet und der beste Zündstoff für eine schöne, aber auch lustige Liebesgeschichte ist. Hinzu kommt, dass sich beide anfangs nicht leiden können, was sie jedoch nicht davon abhält, sich zu verbünden, um dem jeweils anderen einen Partner zu verschaffen. Aber wie man bekanntlich weiß, ziehen sich Gegensätze an und wie heißt es doch so schön? „Was sich liebt, das neckt sich.“

Rocko is a wallaby who has emigrated to America from Australia. He lives in O-Town and tries to get through life but, of course, comes across a multitude of dilemmas and misadventures he must get through. Other characters include Rocko's best friend, Heffer, a steer who has been raised by wolves, Filbert, a paranoid hypochondriac turtle, Rocko's faithful (but none-too-bright) dog Spunky, and Ed Bighead who detests Rocko and hates having him for a next door neighbor. On this show, Rocko has such adventures as trying to adapt to a new vacuum cleaner, having Heffer move in temporarily after his parents kick him out, and going to a movie theater.
